First, FVF can offer to provide the client's supplier with a Vendor Assurance Letter. This letter guarantees the supplier that funds owed for raw materials and production will be deducted from the client's account upon shipment of the product. A cheque will be mailed directly from FVF to the supplier. As a second option, FVF is also affiliated with several companies who specialize solely in P/O Finance. Working with the client's purchase order, a letter of credit can be established for the supplier which guarantees payment upon delivery of the product.
Purchase Order (P/O) Finance is utilized when a client does not have sufficient capital to produce an order. This situation may occur with a start-up or with a company who receives an unusually large order. First Vancouver Finance (FVF ) has two options for assisting a client in this situation.
